Half Day Motoring Treasure Hunt 2010

On 30th May 2010 JCS NYW organized its 4^th motoring treasure hunt event which was flagged off from KJB headquarters’ in Jalan Tun Sambathan, Brickfields at 8.00 am and ended at the Royal Commonwealth Society Club which is located in Jalan Batai, Damansara at 1.00pm. The half day event saw the participation of 22 cars and over eighty participants as well as the involvement of nearly ten course marshals.

The event was filled with excitement as the clerk of course Ascend Events charted a route filled with many mind boggling anagrams and well hidden clues. The hunt route among others included Jalan Tun Sambathan, Jalan Kelang Lama, Jalan Gasing, Section 14 Pj, SS2 and Sri Hartamas The hot weather and morning sun did not hamper or restrain the participants from doing their best and working together.

The event ended with a delicious Indian cuisine buffet lunch at the Royal Commonwealth Society Club. Among the dishes served included prawns, chicken and mutton cooked in various Indian styles. The event saw six teams walking away with prizes worth a total of RM3000.00. All prizes were given away by the JCS President Mr P.Satgunarajah, JCS Treasurer Mr M. Mahadavan and JCS NYW
